Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ 1.4 Patch

DESCRIPTION:

This is the release of the v1.4 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ patch by Infinity Ward.

CHANGES:

“Winter Crash”, a holiday version of Multiplayer map “Crash”

Improvements to the server browser

Fixed some rare bullet accuracy issues for all weapons.

For server admins: fixed user ban list not working correctly on servers. Ban.txt will be created in the main or fs_game directory

MOD SUPPORT:

In the connect screen, Mods will be identified as”Mod: [mod name]”

Only official IWD files will be read from the main directory. All custom IWD should be placed in a mod directory.

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server

Improved mod.ff support to allow adding game types.

Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.

“fs_game” will be forced to lower case

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ 1.3 Patch

DESCRIPTION:

This is the release of the v1.3 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ patch by Infinity Ward.

This patch addresses the issue reported by community member Uzi Kidding which now catches some files bypassing the pure client test. In addition this update will set properties so that Anti-lag is always enabled upon map loads, an optimization for Sniper Rifle accuracty at certain distances, as well a fix so text chat between rounds of multiplayer will no longer cut out at the end. The 1.3 patch will also include all previous fixes from previous patches.

I will be releasing a small Cod4Bot update tonight. This version will fix some bugs plus provide better compatibility for future versions.

Features include:

Flashing chams wallhack fix
Smooth aiming
Head and Body aim selection
Improved visibility tracing

Punkbuster update notifications

Smooth aiming allows adjustment of speed of the aimbot. A higher value will make the aimbot more snappy whereas a lower value will make the aimbot smoother. This behaviour is ideal for league play.

Head and Body aim selection allows you to choose which part of the enemy you would like to aim for first. The aimbot will always aim for this location if it is visible. If it is not visible it will aim for the other location.

Example: Aimbot is set to aim for body. Player walks behind wall, and only top of head is visible. Aimbot recognises this and aims for top of head

Punkbuster update notifications will display a message box if a non supported version of punkbuster is detected.

Unknown WinAPI Function / Steam / Xfire

A lot of players are getting kicked for this violation. This is caused by the steam overlay. The overlay hooks d3d functions which trigger this violation. You can stop the steam overlay running by doing the following

Open steam
Click File -> Settings
Select the In-Game tab
Uncheck Enable Steam Community In-Game

Xfire also causes problems with cod4. If you try and switch to a different mod or display mode the video subsystem is re-initalised. Xfire’s hooks cause the Direct x subsystem to crash with the error message

DirectX Error
DirectX(R) encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the DirectX(R) FAQ for possible solutions.

The only solution is to turn xfire off.

MSXSecurity Offline!

MSX security went offline recently. MSX was a scam and just resold public hacks and other peoples work. Many people still would not accept the warnings and still paid extremely high fees for next to nothing.

There is also a new site up claiming you should buy from them if you are ex MSX. You’ll probably spot it right away. It has the same template as msx! I wouldn’t bother with that either.

Here’s a few tips for spotting scam sites.

1. Don’t be fooled by slogans and user counts. They may brag about 50,000 users but 99.5% of those will be computer generated. If they were real just imagine what happens when the admin has to answer a pm from each of them every day.

2. Take a look at the board post count and also check that it adds up with the count for the forums. The post count can be faked just as easily as the user count.

3. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

4. Watch out for sites that offer hacks for every game out, especially unpopular games. There is no way they could write for all these games in such short time. They are probably just selling cheats that are publically available. Why would you waste your time writing cheats for a game that isn’t popular?

5. Whois their domain name. How could they have been around for 6 years when their domain was first registered a year ago?

A new patch is out for call of duty 4 already.

This is the release of the v1.2 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare patch by Infinity Ward.

This patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue, addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred to as the ?Left / Vertical Lean? Glitch, in addition to preparing files for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Mod Tools. This patch will update all previous versions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to v1.2

How to play a demo back in Call of Duty 4

Cod4 currently appears to have a bug which does not allow you to playback demos that are stored in the [Cod4Folder]/main directory. There is a simple work around for this.

Open up [Cod4Folder]/Mods and create a directory called DemoWatch.
Within that directory create another directory called demos. You should now have the following directory structure [Cod4Folder]/Mods/DemoWatch/demos
Copy any demos you want to play into the DemoWatch/demos folder.
Load Call of Duty 4 and click Mods.
Click DemoWatch and load it.
Once the mod has loaded open up your console and type demo [name of demo here] (do not put the square brackets)
The demo should now begin to load.

Call of Duty 4 Aimbot Fully working!

Yes It’s here, the first call of duty 4 aimbot (that I know of). It was only a matter of time before I fixed the dead body aiming. This bad boy has taken me from rank 0 to rank 19 in 45 minutes! The hack is still very beta and the aimbot has no prediction or aim correction at all. Still very impressive considering my ping was in the 150+ range.

Please don’t mock my graphics They are turned down because I have to run Call of duty 4 twice when testing.

Here’s the demo, nothing spectacular but the hard work is done. I will be selecting beta testers soon who will be able to download it from the download system.

Call of duty 4 was finally released last week and is already proving to be a popular online fps. The sleek graphics and wide range of weapons and maps are no doubt a big contributor to this. Tens of thousands are already playing it online and with christmas round the corner we’ll no doubt see it become even more popular. In my opinion a good fresh FPS has been long overdue.

The question you are all asking though is when is Cod4Bot going to appear? Cod4Bot is currently in development and this one is going to be better than ever. The game engine structures are fully reversed and waiting to be implemented into a new polymorphic hack engine. This will make it easier to make the hack compatible with updates and also make the engine design more simple reducing errors in coding.
